Personality of a Poodle
It's been said that the Poodle will reflect the personality of their owner. Poodles are known to be very human like and extremely intelligent. These dogs always stand out as they are very classy and elegant looking, they really have quite a presence.
Very loyal and affectionate with their loved ones, Poodles are a very popular dog breed for many reasons. They are very entertaining and definitely have a goofy side to them that you can't help but fall in love with. The Poodle breed becomes protective over their family especially when at home. They make good watch dogs, they will let you know right away when someone is near. Poodles are easy to train which makes them very desirable and they have a memory of an elephant. With that being said, it's important to be consistent in the training process because when I say they remember mostly everything, that means bad habits too.

Poodle Exercise

Poodles are very lively and playful dogs that need some kind of exercise every day. If you don't exercise him or her enough, they can become bored, depressed or even destructive just like many other animals do. Depending on the size of Poodle you have... the smaller ones can get exercise in the house or backyard but the bigger ones need more extensive exercise.
It's safe to say at least one walk a day is needed as well as some play time but sometimes you may only have time to do one or the other and that is quite alright. Walking your Poodle daily is important since your dog is in most cases in the house for most of the day. They need their time to be a dog and this will keep them in good shape as well mentally and physically.
Poodles are very smart and active dogs. They need to be challenged and stimulated. As a Poodle owner, you need to make sure you give them a lot of different activities to do through out the day that will keep their bodies in motion and their minds active. This makes for a happy Poodle.
